MORRO do Chapeu

a clean city 8 hours from Salvador, Bahia, in a comfortable bus, for just $15. Calm and friendly, a cheap hotel and a big pousada and all you need. But the attractions are a bit outside. Have a look at their official web site or my pictures below:

Ventura

is where my Cristiane who invited me lives, with only 15 people, no electricity, water from the river. It used to be a rich diamond city. Here my pictures of the river.

Cactus trip

it rains during one month per year. so its not as dry as other regions in Bahia. Its always possible to dig for water, and bigger trees stay green.
