In 1985 PARADIS presented a prototype of a new kind of guitar:

It is between a 6 string bass and a guitar in terms of tuning (BEADG#B) and string spacing.

As a guitar, it gives very full chords, ideal for acompainment.

Due to its specific module that contains a 6-string POLYSUBBASS, it can be used just like a six string bass, being that its much easier to play and it gives an even fuller bass, since the unsuficiant length of the lowest sting in a bass does not quite permit the full development of the fundamental vibration.
